Create a Memorial for a Loved One

Worldwide measures to contain the spread of the virus has made it impossible for us to attend funerals and services for our loved ones. This has left many to grieve in isolation, the Covid-19 Memorial Wall creates a virtual space where we can share memories and celebrate the lives of those lost.

This pandemic may physically separate us but it can never take away our loving memories, our hopes, our dreams or our desire to connect & share life experiences.

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected thousands of lives over the entire world. The people who have lost their lives to this virus are not just statistics they are our brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, friends, colleagues, neighbors.

Our Story

The idea of the Covid-19 Wall was born out of fear, my fear of losing a loved one. A fear most of us share. As the virus spreads and more people lose their lives to it, my fear increases with it. A paralyzing fear. Fuelled by anxiety & the media and seeing others who are heart broken

Being a world away from my loved ones, I’m faced with a sense of helplessness. Travel restrictions, Virus containment measures, and life circumstances make it damn near impossible to reach someone who is sick. Understandably so, whatever other impacts it has on our lives is dwarfed by the need to prevent further spread.

When someone you love becomes a memory...
that memory becomes a treasure.
